Could be a lower level problem. Are you sure you have the correct line encoding, framing configured? Does your Telco require the crc4 checking?

If you suspect an interrupt issue, kill all unneeded h/w in your system BIOS. Parallel, USB ports, etc. This should free-up real, hard IRQs.

If that doesn't work, move the card to a different PCI interface, if available. If that still doesn't work, buy a foneBRIDGE and stop worrying about PCI interfaces and interrupts :)

    Good luck!

Biju, I see you are from India. I had the same problem with an E1 from Airtel and a TE121B. We fixed it by removing the CRC4 setting in the etc/zaptel.conf file.

The line will look something like this: span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4

Remove the CRC4 like this: span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3

Reboot and the light will be green, alarms gone, and the E1 will be working.
