    Hi.

I found a little USB key to command some receiver device like EXTEL by radio-frequency.

    EXTEL:

These devices are very simple and inexpensive.
I say Extel, but there's lots of devices which are compatible.

    TellStick key:

You can click on this link for more information HERE.
You could have the external antenna version to have more range.

With my script, you could install easily this key.

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    clear
echo "Insert your TellStick key, and press any key."
    read
    modprobe ftdi_sio vendor=0x1781 product=0x0c30

    cd /usr/src
    wget http://packages.sw.be/libconfuse/libconfuse-2.6-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    wget http://packages.sw.be/libconfuse/libconfuse-devel-2.6-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    wget http://download.telldus.se/TellStick/Software/telldus-core/telldus-core-2.0.3.tar.gz
    wget http://www.cmake.org/files/v2.8/cmake-2.8.2-Linux-i386.tar.gz

    tar xvf cmake-2.8.2-Linux-i386.tar.gz
    tar xvf telldus-core-2.0.3.tar.gz
    rpm -ivh libconfuse-2.6-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    rpm -ivh libconfuse-devel-2.6-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm

    cd cmake-2.8.2-Linux-i386
    cp -R * /usr/local
    cd ..
    cd telldus-core-2.0.3
    cmake -DBUILD_LIBTELLDUS-CORE=1 -DBUILD_TDTOOL=1 -DGENERATE_MAN=0
    make
    make install
    cd ..
    echo "/usr/local/lib" >> /etc/ld.so.conf
    ldconfig
    cd
    sed -i "s|/dev/tellstick|/dev/ttyUSB0|" /etc/tellstick.conf
    echo > /var/state/telldus-core.conf
    clear
    echo "Installation is done."
After this, you could make a dialplan with a custom command like for example:
    Code:
    # tdtool -n device1
    It's only an idea.

    Regards
