Can i register in Elastix 2.0 a H323 softphone??I have filled in the blanks as it says in "elastix without tears" but it doesnt work (i use softphone PC-TONE), what ports i need to open??i know ooh323.conf is obsolete and i dont want to use "on my own risk"... as suggested... what modules i need to install??any good guide about this??

    Thanks!

forget about it...the only developing module that can register is oh323 with an external gatekeeper and the efforts and time you will wasdte there its useless as h323 is deprecated in almost all voip systems...you could only made some type of peer 2 peer connections without registration with ooh323 from addons

Would it not be easier to use a SIP or IAX2 compliant softphone? I believe both of these protocols are currently quite well supported by Elastix, h323 not so much.

But it's your choice, move the mountain or move the pebble.
