    Hi,
i've been running elastix 1.3 for a while now and it's a truly remarkable product. absolutely brilliant with 20 users on an old p4 2ghz with 1gb ram.
we are in uk and use:

2 x analogue (for failover to only)
4 x plusnet voip (for local & national free calls)
    2 x sipgate voip (for 08 & mobile calls)

the only issue we have is with the plusnet lines who now use gradwell.
when we do a dns search, the ip's for sip.plus.net change every so often alternating between 3 consecutive ip's.

elastix says the sip trunks are registered but nobody can get through or nobody can dial out. doing a ping to sip.plus.net shows that address as the next consecutive address up from what elastix is showing.
doing a sip reload then tends to rectify the issue.
but a few days later, sip.plus.net may move again and we have to do another sip reload.

is there anyway this can be rectified in the config?

A workaround would be creating a cron script to restart asterisk every few minutes.

    asterisk -rx "restart when convenient"

    yuk....
i do use srvlookup = yes in all trunks and elastix looks at our lan dns server.
however, the lan dns server shows 1 address while elastix sip info looks at another.
i'm thinking it could also be something to do with registration?
