    Hello everyone. I've just made a fresh install of Elastix and have a question about configuring Cisco 7960 phones. I do realize that Elastix's endpoint manager cannot configure Cisco phones, but I'm planning on still using the config files made by trixbox and served by a TFTP server on my desk computer (Just for ease of use). However, my Cisco phones cannot seem to connect to the switch, since dialing anything just give me the busy signal and the X icon next to the extension on the phone.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.

    I've also discovered that XLite will not work, either.

    Zipster90,
    Try setting NAT to Never in your extention for the Cisco 9760. Good luck.

    This is my setup for both Trixbox & Elastix that works with the Cisco 7960
    [800]
    type=friend
    secret=800
    record_out=Adhoc
    record_in=Adhoc
    qualify=yes
    port=5060
    pickupgroup=
    nat=never
    mailbox=800@default
    host=dynamic
    dtmfmode=rfc2833
    disallow=
    dial=SIP/800
    context=from-internal
    canreinvite=no
    callgroup=
    callerid=device <800>
    call-limit=4
    allow=
    accountcode=
    call-limit=50

    Xlite also works with nat=yes
    This is assuming that parameters in SIPDefault.cnf in /tftpboot matches what is set in Elastix
