I'm trying to increase the RX volume on a system with a sangoma card. I'm making the changes in the zapata.conf.wanpipe then restarting but it does not appear to make any volume adjustment when running the ztmonitor tool and I have increased the setting up to 8.0 in small increments.

Am I in the correct file or should I make these changes in the zapata.conf

    Many Thanks.

If it is in a fxo you have to edit zapata-channels.com and if it is a fxs edit zapata_additional.conf. You will see there your channels already configured if you previously run genzaptelconf or hardware detection at the gui.

Zapata.conf is the one you are after. zapata-channels is the auto generated config file from genzaptelconf and the web interface configuration tool. Zapata_additional is a file that is over written everything when you make changes in freepbx. Also the wanpipe file is just a template of how sangoma say you should setup zapata.conf.
