Change the Elastix's Splash Screen to CentOS Def.

    Hi Friends,
    I saw Some posts about changing the splash screen (default screen when Sys. comes up).
    You can change it with simple replace.
    Just replace the attached splash file with same name in "/boot/grub" Directory.
    Then restart the Sys and see the CentOS default Splash screen.

    But I think the Elastix's Default is more Beautiful !
    you can change the image of splash by editing the splash file with GIMP.

    I have never seen the boot splash for either of them. I do the install then pull the screen and its on to the next for install :D

    Thanks for the guide though! Nice to know its so easy :)

    U mean the splash.xmp.gz ?

    But how to transfer a new image file from my flash memory the grup directory???

    Please do not take this a a slam...

    You need to learn Linux. It will make administrating Asterisk so much easier, and it may even help in other things. Take some time and learn Linux. But not here. There are many forums, user groups, books, and classes that are better suited to that task than us.
