Have you set up a virtual fax in the Elastix interface, or have you configured fax in the Unembedded FreePBX? They are quite different.

For the Elastix interface, look at the top of the page and you will see a button for "E-mail Template". The from address can be set there.

For the FreePBX fax, the settings are in the "fax configuration" module.

Something wired is going on with Hylafax server on Elastix 2.0.1 Stable.

When I connect using any client from Windows crappie I have Fax Service (Hylafax): Service Not Activated

I am able to received email in pdf to my email by sending is still a pain even if used DIGIUM T38 codec.....

    I use SIPGATE with alaw/ulaw codec ....

I have noticed that some people advice to use Elastix GUI when others FReePbx GUI ....

Anyway instead I have Fax Service (Hylafax): Service Not Activated I am able to receive fax to my email. Outgoing from WIN client is not easy.

Yes, it's easy to do in Elastix.
Now i m learning how to change the email template that sender address.
I have found /var/spool/hylafax/etc/template/en/ , is it the file that i can change the fax to email information?
Did anyone do it before? Please advice, thanks.
