I decided to see what the Elastix community was doing. I downloaded and installed the 1.4 beta. I was very excited when I seen a new feature in there called "Call Screening" This is something I have wanted for a long time. Thank you very much for that!

I hope 1.4 isn't long in coming out as the latest.

I did have a question about the chan_mobile. I see it's listed in the features but I couldn't find it. I then downloaded the 1.3 Stable Distro and didn't see the "Call Screening" or the chan_mobile in there.

Am I reading this wrong or is it in there and called something different?

Has anyone been successfull in using it or adding it, maybe that's the question. How do I get it?

Once 1.4 becomes official, do you have to get a new ISO or is there an upgrade (via rpm) that you can do to get the newest release with Elastix?

Thanks for listening!

Can you enable the extra repos and run:
yum install asterisk-addons-chan_mobile

Sure if I understood what you meant by that.

Are you saying edit the /etc/yum.conf and add some additional repo:

# PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo
# in /etc/yum.repos.d

I am not sure where they are?

Sorry for being stupid here.

Also, is that what it takes in order to play regular .mp3 moh files as well?

Thanks very much for your help.

Do it throw the web interfase:

update -> repositories

and check elastix extra repositories.

About moh it should work out of the box. You can create a separate thread for that issue.

Thank you. I am running asterisk Elastix-1.4-1beta-13nov2008.iso

I found: update -> repositories and I checked the "exta repositories"

that took away "asterisk"
I usually opent the CLI with:
asterisk -rnvvvvv
It replace asterisk with asterisk.reload and doesn't allow me to get into the cli.

Should I be trying to get to the CLI with something other than:

/bin/asterisk

yum install asterisk-addons-chan_mobile
did work of course now if I could get to the cli.

It looks like it's hanging and won't start after:

asterisk: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_mobile.so: undefined symbol: hci_get_route

Is there an issue with 1.4 beta and chan_mobile is that what it issue is?
