That fixed almost everything! I now see the reason for the example.com domain. It's some kind of dummy domain which is used for identification of the account of a specific mailadress. I can now send and receive mail in webmail en receive mail via IMAP. Now I only have to get SMTP working. Trying to do that broke my mailsetup last time. Fortunatly I now have a backup to go back to!
I'm new to Elastix,Linux and E-mail server config and would appreciate some help. I want to know if it's possible to setup up Elastix for e-mail functionality limited within our LAN, using Elastix mail server.I changed the hostname to elastix.local and i'm running Elastix 1.6 on CentOS.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could show me the ropes on this setup.
Don't have a domain. I'm hoping to make elastix.local the domain. Don't know if I'm on the right path.
