Hi

i've got a comp with: pentium 4, 1.5 GB ram and 60 GB hard disk

i downloaded elastix 2.0.3 32 bit iso
burned it to cd
and when the boot start, i get all the setup running
i decide the partitios, password, network
and then when it start installing i get errors
something about
can't load from installtion tree,
can't find repodata/primary.xml.gz.

i checked that the iso is fine ( i installed it on a virtual pc)

i can install on the computer ASTERISK NOW
so i know the comp is ok

what could be causing this ?
is elastix has high requiremnts for my computer ?

thanx

A sucessfull install is not a definitive test of hardware. :) Run memtest86 on it for a few passes to make sure some high memory is not sending bad bits. Also, try the 2.0.2 iso as the 2.0.3 has some known issues.

You may also want to check the disc integrity of the CD that you burned to ensure that you had a successful burn. You can run an integrity check by typing in the following to the boot prompt of the Elastix installation CD:

linux mediacheck
As Lee suggested, you can also run memtest from the Elastix installation CD to test the memory by typing:

memtest86
I hope this helps.
