    Hello,

I installed elastix with TDM400P yesterday, edited sip_nat.conf file for our firewall nat setup, and tested something below:

    1. Softphone to PSTN phone (PSTN phone can't hear)

    2. Softphone to IP-phone (user report to me they heard noise)

    3. IP-phone to IP-phone (work)

    4. Softphone to Softphone (work)

    IP-phone brand is Aztech.

    Thank !

    udp/tcp 5060

    udp 10000 - 20000

But I think not the firewall port forward problem .... because softphone to softphone were work ....

    Thank !

I had this same problem with a recent PFSense firewall, all ports were set up but it just would not work, i then tested with a linksys wrt54G2 and also an Untangle firewall and they worked fine.

    what firewall are you using?

can you test it without a firewall first?

Do all your phones show as registered in the system?

I'm using shorewall firewall (http://www.shorewall.net), it's an opensource firewall. The VOIP port forward setting is for previous Trixbox, the setting were work for Trixbox.

I tested all softphone/IP-phone in local LAN, but this problem still here ... yes, all phone were registered .

i had a friend set up the elastix box and use the linux based firewall and configured that, for the life of me i could not get the system to work using

    PFSense
    Untangle
    and a WatchGuard 550e

Firewalls, all ports were wide open, on all protocols, but they would all fail it seems.
