    Hi,

    I have elastix 1.6 and FreePbx 2.7

after yum update, I couldn't open the PBX menu form elastix and even from https://elastixip/admin

I'm getting the following message after entering the correct username and password

    FATAL ERROR
    DB Error: no such field

    please help.

    thanks,

How did you get to FreePBX 2.7 from Elastix 1.6?

The latest version in that repository (http://repo.elastix.org/elastix/1/updates/i386/RPMS/) is I believe:

    http://repo.elastix.org/elastix/1/updat ... noarch.rpm

If you did it "all on your own" then the yum update likely "downdated" you to a previous version "all on its own", (you are NOT allowed to do that "all on your own" thing in ANY version of Elastix, or you will break Elastix, (or so they say, some disagree but don't count on the embedded FreePBX to work anymore (not that it is particularly effective right now) ;) )), luckily there are many posts here for you to subvert that "draconian Elastix edict" look for --exclude=freePBX or some such in these fora.

So for safety go back to the working backup of your Elastix system you obviously did before you did the upgrade, (you do have that I presume, of course you do, why would I ask! so just use it)

If you neglected to do rule number 1 (backup, and backup the backups), then you are now royally screwed and you will have to reinstall from the FreePBX source code, maybe start with:

    http://mirror.freepbx.org/freepbx-2.7.0.tar.gz
