cannot Dial * number to my bank like *2086

    hi guys

    i have problem i install elastix 1.4 and all fine
    but when i want to dial * number ( for Example *2080 to my bank)

    it is failed becuse the elastix code or someting some one can help me
    what can i do to enable * numbers to dial

    perhaps you have an extension with 2080? Normaly you can use *<exten-number> to call the voice mail.

    Are you using ip phone or a fxs gateway?

    hi

    i dont have ext with the number *2080 but this is not the number isuue
    i can call any serivce like piza guy *6633 or car rental *9988 and the elastix dont call it out
    i use sip + fxo analog lines openvox card

    Do you have an outboud route with the "*" as first digit in the dia pattern? If it does not work you may try a dial pattern with a prefix.

    Something like "*." as a dial pattern in the outbound route should do it for you.

    You can call the bank, correct, after it answers it is the IVR that doesn't respond?.

    What is tte dtmfmode= in the extension and trunk, try inband or auto instead of rfc2833

    i will try it "*." in the dial pattern and get back to you

    by the way the call not been made at all (for the second replay)
