Here is the background. I have Elastix 2.0.3 with a Sangoma A200 2/FXO, 2/FXS. My configuration has a PSTN line into FXO/channel 1 and my analog phones into FXS/channel 3. My FXS is set to extension 1250. The system is updated in terms of all patches.

The issue is that if I have mailbox = 1250 (my voicemail context for this extension is default) in chan_dadhi.con, I get strange callerid log behaviour on the analog phones. Basically, for every call either inbound or outbound to the extension I get an entry in the log on the phone saying "Unknown 1250" as well as the real callerid information if the call is inbound to the extension. If I comment out the mailbox = 1250 line then this behaviour stops and callerid is only for inbound calls with the proper callerid.

I have callerid = 1250 set in chan_dadhi.conf and want to be able to have MWI work which is why I turned on mailbox = 1250 to get that working. In fact, MWI does work when I turn this on, but then my callerid log has all the useless extra entries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, tried that and it helped for inbound calls but I still get extra callerid on outbound calls so every time I make a call, I get an entry with the extension in the callerid log. I used to use an ATA (Linksys 3102) and did not have the issue and realize that it is dahdi related.

    Any other ideas ?

    Thanks
