We have a call center that has a warning bell on the wall. When the wait time in the queue gets to be a certain wait time a bell on the wall rings to alert the managers to get on the queue and take calls. Does anyone know if this possable with Elastix?

    Not directly in Elastix

but rasterisk -x 'queue show' will return something like this reference:

    http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/aste ... show+queue

parse out the "holdtime" and react as appropriate. possible something like

    rasterisk -x ' queue show'|grep holdtime|awk '{print $1 "," $10}'|sed -s 's/[(s]//g'

I've got to say that those poor agents must feel like they live in hell, I hope you can't make it work for their sakes.

I will give that a try. I wonder if I could add onto that and make it send out an email instead?

Of course , just "pipe " the command (or any that produces output) through mail

    i.e

    ls |mail -s "The Subject" me@mydomain.com
