    Hello,

We attempted an install of the Call Center module via the web interface this evening. It appears the install failed and now when we browse to http://ourpbx we get a blank page.

I checked /var/www/db/ and it appears the .db files there are corrupt.

We have a backup that we took before installing the Call Center module but as the web interface doesn't work we can't login to restore it.

Is there a way to restore the DB folder and/or related files from our tar backup at the command line?

In the mean time - we're able to admin the PBX via http://ourserver/admin using the OOB FreePBX GUI.

    Christopher.

login as root and do this:

    cd /var/www/html/backup
    tar zxvf YourBackupFile
    cd backup
    tar zxvf var.www.db.tgz
    cd db

now you have all db files and you can copy what you need to /var/www/db/

    other way:

You can obtain a fresh db files from your installation CD. Please mount the CD and extract this file from the elastix RPM.

    rpm2cpio - < /path_the_rpm/elastix-0.X-X.noarch.rpm | cpio -id ./var/www/db/*

Hope this can help you.<br><br>Post edited by: saleh, at: 2008/03/22 01:51

    Saleh,

    Thanks for the assistance.

I copied all of the .db files from the tarball backup to the DB file (backed up the old files first) and the index page shows up but won't access our admin login password nor the 'default' Elastix login password (palosanto).

    Any suggestions?

The RPM2CPIO results are the same - can't login with the password.

This was resolved by doing a:

    $rpm -e --nodeps elastix

    Followed by:

    $rpm -Uvh /cd/CentOS/elastix-0.9.2-4.noarch.rpm

We'll hold off on the Call Center Module until a test 1.0 release is available.
