I'm trying to get BLF working on parked calls:
This from another forum:

Here's what I have in extensions_custom.conf:

[ext-parking-lot-custom]
exten => ParkedCall1,1,ParkedCall(71)
exten => ParkedCall1,hint,park:71@parkedcalls

[from-internal-custom]
include => ext-parking-lot-custom

There is no extensions_custom.conf in the file editor.
There is a extensions_custom.conf.sample, I put the info in there but it did not work.

Any advice would be great.

Many Thanks

Post edited by: tbooth, at: 2007/11/16 18:39

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

Edit sip.conf and add:

allowsubscribe=yes
subscribecontext = hints_context
notifyringing = yes
notifyhold = yes
limitonpeers = yes
notifymimetype=application/simple-message-summary
call-limit=2

This can be done at peer level or at [general] section.

Then you edit file extensions.conf, and add the hints in the context that we have just created in

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

OK I understand the part in the sip.conf but no in the extensions.conf

I'm testing with extensions 2000, 2001 so I would just place this at the bottom of the extensions.conf and save?

exten => 2000,hint,SIP/2000)
exten => 2000,1,Dial(SIP/2000)
exten => 2001,hint,SIP/2001)
exten => 2001,1,Dial(SIP/2001)

Thanks

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

Sorry confused.
I don't see a "subscribecontext" in my extensions.conf
Do I manually put that in, if so how?

Would it be[subscribecontext]

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

after some brain storming I think I have it figured out.

In my extensions.conf I added,

[hints_context]
exten => 2000,hint,SIP/2000)
exten => 2000,1,Dial(SIP/2000)
exten => 2001,hint,SIP/2001)
exten => 2001,1,Dial(SIP/2001)

rebooted the phones and will test in the morning

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

I have tested this with Trixbox running Asterisk 1.4
using this:

The syntax is different for 1.4.

Here's what I have in extensions_custom.conf:

[ext-parking-lot-custom]
exten => ParkedCall1,1,ParkedCall(71)
exten => ParkedCall1,hint,park:71@parkedcalls

[from-internal-custom]
include => ext-parking-lot-custom

I cannot get this to work with Elastix. I have tried the method suggested by ramoncio and thats not working.
Is it becouse Elastix does not have a extensions_custom.conf file??
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

Can someone test blf on parked calls and report your findings. I have had no luck getting it working.

Re:BLF on PARKED Calls?

still no luck getting this working. I have tried all suggestions posted. I can get it working with trixbox but no elastix. I want my next install to be elastix but just cannot get this to work.

If anyone here has this working please let me know exactly how you did it.

Many Thanks
