Hi, i am in the middle of planning a deployment. Phone calls will be coming from australia to the philippines. What is the best way to set it up? I will have a call centre with 10 staff working in the philippines, i have an office in australia but they will not be working with the philippines staff. So far i have come up with the following options
1 Elastix Box in australia as master connecting to elastix box in the philippines as slave with australian sip trunking
2 Elastix box in australia with vpn between australia and philippines with sip phones
3 elastix box in philippines connecting to australian sip trunking

Those are the options i have come up with, not sure if they are right... can anyone suggest one of the above or better option?
    thanks
    jon

    hi

im a elastix fan from PHILIPPINES
considering the bandwidth resources here at PHIL assuming city is MANILA.
i would suggest that australia will be the host.

    so option B..

You will find most of the call centers already have asterisk boxes set up in the call centers in Mainlia and they have enough bandwidth to run calls. As most of the major center already use asterisk.

I would make sure you shop around to a few different call centres as there are 100s in the Philipiens.

Also I would just run your VSP off there Asterisk server unless you have enough bandwidth back in Australia as that will most likely be your weakest link.

Anyway I know this as I spent 3 months setting up a call center for my old company but on a much larger scale. We used a two dedicated 3mb links back to us though.
