Elastix is great software, I downloaded the software and had it running reasonably well within 24 hours and I am not familiar with telephony applications.

The only area of concern I found is with the backup function (I am a windows person and am not good with Linux applications). I believe that it does backups to the local drive only by default.

The ability to run automatically scheduled backups configured from the interface would be great.

The ability to have scheduled backups that are able to be saved to another location on the network (or a different subnet) would be even better.<br><br>Post edited by: stuart, at: 2007/12/30 04:09

    I agree.
    Elastix backup is veeery basic.
    It should be easily improved.
Let's hope they'll improve it soon.

You can use backuppc. I posted a script to install it in a minute, and works great. It schedules backups and it's a really nice program. But it still copies the files locally.
