I have two identical setups which I´m experimenting with. The only difference is that one is running on a virtual machine and the other on a stand alone box. In order to more easily migrate settings between them I tried to make a backup on one system, download it to another computer and from there upload it to the second elastix box. To my big surprise there is no upload function in the GUI in elastixs Backup/Restore tab. Am I missing something obvious or should this simply not be possible for some reason?

    Regards Christoffer

    Hi,

You have to copy manually the back to:
    /var/www/html/backup

The next version would have the upload button.

    Hi
I've copied the backup file into /var/www/html/backup, but the Tar.gz backup file doesn't appear on the second server in the Web Gui. Am I doing something wrong?

Try running an initail backup of second server and then move your previous backup to that dir and see if it shows up

The problem is the difference of file renaming between versions.
In version 1.0.17 the back up is made in a tar.gz file, even though version 1.0.15 uses a .tar file.

I followed what Bruno Macias told me to do in the Elastix General Spanish e-mail list.

    Cheers
