Im not sure where to post this but I really need help. I plan to backup the voicemail on separate server using Automated FTP with cron job allowing to check it every 5 mins if there is a new message. I have googled for the whole day to find "step by step" guide on how to do this (hence im not a programer and new in linux).

I really appreciate anybody's help. cheers...

    Have a look here:
This is a script that I used to fully backup a running server using rsync.

    http://www.elastix.org/index.php?option ... 3849#13849

Follow the instructions, and change the rsync line in the latest rsyncbackup.sh script to leave it like this:

    nohup rsync -avz --delete rootAT192.168.1.100:/var/spool/asterisk/ /var/spool/asterisk/ > /home/files.txt &

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will have to substitute in all the scripts "AT" for "@"
This is because this damn fireboard forum messes up with what it detects as email addresses.

Look at what happens when I insert an email address into the code tags:
    Code:
    elastix@example.com

Outside the code it works fine:
    elastix@example.com
