I have recently built a machine with a ASUS M3A78-EM with the 64 bit version of Elastix. The installation hangs after it starts. I think while it's trying to detect the SATA Channels. I've finally given up on that board and was wondering if any of these listed models would be good to use. Anybody have experience with any of these? All these models are compatible with my CPU that I already have.

    ASUS M4N78-Pro
    ASUS M4A78T-E
    ASUS M4A79 Deluxe

    Thanks for the help

when the installation hangs up check the other terminals (pressing ALT+F3 for terminal 3 and ALT+F4 for terminal 4)... i think it can give you an idea of what is happening.
i have had some issues with some asus motherboards... I solved a pair of them disabling the network card in the BIOS setup (and installing a PCI network card)

Solo tienes que añadir la siguiente opcion al arranque antes de instalar elastix:

    linux pci=nomsi

    AHCI OK !!!!!!!
