Hi all,

We have a strange issue with a Wildcard TE420 (4th Gen). We have configured dahdi with the usual dahdi_genconf, dahdi_cfg etc and all the config files look fine. "/etc/init.d./dahdi start" works fine. A dahdi_tool shows the card ok.

When asterisk is started it immediatly crashes and not much is put out on the logs at full debug other than:

ERROR[8230] asterisk.c: Asterisk has detected a problem with your DAHDI configuration and will shutdown for your protection. You have options:
1. You only have to compile DAHDI support into Asterisk if you need it. One option is to recompile without DAHDI support.
2. You only have to load DAHDI drivers if you want to take advantage of DAHDI services. One option is to unload DAHDI modules if you don't need them.
3. If you need Zaptel services, you must correctly configure DAHDI.
If dahdi is stopped asterisk is started up fine. If we start dahdi after asterisk "dahdi show status" shows 4 spans. I haven't been able to test if actual call can be made or received yet or whether this will cause asterisk to crash.(The lines are sitting in the old PBX at the moment).

dahdi_test just hangs until I press ctrl-c.
