Hello, help me please, I need to repair it fast.

My E1 phoneoperator doesn't accept calls where is prefix "0", where to remove it ??

Thanks a lot in advance!

In the outbound trunks.....

use a dialplan.... (in the outbound route)

e.g.

0|XXXXXXXX

this is assuming that the remainder of your number has 8 digits....you need to correctly set the number of digits....

but the above will accept a number from the Phone user of

039903993

and then send 39903993 to the E1 connection....

Regards
Bob

I though the same Bob but it seems not to be so simple. In outbound route in elastix pbx I have already XXXXXXXXX (9 digits in my country) and no "0" at begining...

Here are asterisk logger results:

You will almost certainly have to set the trunk or the extension to use "acceptable" CID numbers as per your provider or your call will be rejected on a TDM trunk (E1/T1), don't allow any CID overrides in your trunk, and use your "base CID" or make sure your extensions "Outbound CID" is within the acceptable range.

I've checked it, all override fields aren't in use.

Respectfully, check them again, maybe they need to be unless you correctly set your outbound cid field in all the calling extension. (1032 is probably not acceptable)

It is not rejected by operator, its accepted but then the operators voice says: "We have changed rules of dialing, please dial the number without typing "0" before the number.

edit: that 1032 is for local connection form xten lite to asterisk, from asterisk its going to dialout, if there is no CID then its replaced with 717XXXXXX number (XXXXXX are our main number.)

edit2: 1032 is our one of 30 local numbers, we have also 30 outgoing channels, it all was working correct, just yesterday i had some unespected restart on server, asterisk have fckdup, i had to recompile it and since then i have this problem ...

Check with your provider why you get that message.

pre-emptively from bash:

rasterisk -x "pri intense debug span <your span> "; tail -f /var/log/asterisk/full

will show your D-channel's conversion

(be patient if you need to parse /var/log/asterisk/full postmortem though :) maybe they are using "polish logic" ;) )

As a caution, the E1 will perhaps need libpri and then dahdi to be recompiled before asterisk if you go that route, asterisk has no knowledge of E1's directly.

It was done, dahdi and libpri were configured. I think problem with "0" is somewhere in dialplan..

I doubt it , I previously noted that you dialed

that number would have been sent by asterisk through dahdi to libpri to the D-channel, again,
go the pri debug route.

so it's not the initial zero, if they changed something else but the numbering plan (there are at least 14440 possibilities :) ) you will have to go ask them, sorry.

You will have to check with your provider as to what they expect for TON and NPI, as I say there are many possibilities in ISDN perhaps you need to add your new area code (I'm not from Wroclaw ;) )?

That change was made long ago, everything was working fine untill this server restart. The thing is to dial number in pattern XXXXXXXXX (9 digits), there have to be no prefixes no sufixes etc. just main 9 numbers, no international, no local, just 9 digits to be sent and dialed...

I'm sorry, I can't help you further as to why they reject your call, it is between you and your carrier, please open a trouble ticket with your provider.
