    Hi,

I have Elastix 2.0.0 installed in a single server.

I just wanna ask, does Elastix have the capability of screening area codes on incoming calls? Can I configure it on GUI? What I wanna do is route different groups of area codes to specific extensions.

I was reading the Elastix without tears manual, but I cannot find anything like this.
    Any ideas?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Whilst I haven't tried it personal, I believe the same rules apply to the DID as they do to the Caller ID Number in the Inbound Routes.

The Help Tip from the DID is
"You can also use a pattern match (eg _2[345]X) to match a range of numbers"

Try it on the Caller ID Number as well and see if it works e.g. 345XXXXXX assuming that your Caller ID Number comes through as 3 digits +6 digits for the phone number....

The only problem is it falls down if they have their calling number blocked so you need to set a default route for that as well...

    Regards
