    Hello,

FreePBX on Elastix refuses to accept "string" CID in inbound routes. I know it sounds strange, but since we use Skype CIDs come as string but not as number. Is there a way(workaround) to make FreePBX accept string, but not digits in CIDs ?

    Thanks in advance.

I am using Skype for asterisk and there CIDs are coming as skype names.

However I wanted when person A calls us to go to extension 101 and when person B calls to call extension 102.

    So what I did is:

in Skype for Asterisk I I created more than one skype accounts - each would send me different DID(my account number used to accept the call, not the person who rings) so I route calls based on DID, not on CIDS.

Alternatively IVR could be made - so still only one skype account could be used, but for me this this was overkill.
