Alcatel 4038 IP Phone

    Hello everyone.

    I have a problem with the Alcatel 4038.

    I can not configure it, someone cones this phone? there are any firmware? The problem is that it is reset, it never enters your system, I think you are looking for some file configuration

    help please

    It's impossible to connect any Alcatel phones.
    So, don't try it, it's impossible.

    Even if there exist the SIP protocol from some (e) option, the phone need to connect to the OXE (Call Server) to download the proprietary firmware, and only if the link between the phone and the CS is down, the phone can switch to SIP protocol. So the SIP is not nativ, but it's like a backup solution.

    From Alcatel, it's very very hard....

    One solution, rewrite the firmware.

    and where can get the firmware? that I have searched and can not find any? tenks

    There's a original firmware on each OXE Alcatel.

    I can't attache this firmware because (it's my job, I work on these PABX/IPBX), and if I do not want to be unemployed :unsure:

    Now.... if you can get a firmware modified for working on Asterisk, you are a winner. ;)
    And I will be very interested by this firmware. :woohoo:
