I am just following Ben's elastix with out tears guide.
I have setup 2 software phones and can call between them but can not dial 7777 as I get The Number You Have Dialled Is Not In Service. I am following the guide page by page and dont want to move on until I have this part fixed :) any help would be great

Re:7777 The Number You Have Dialled Is Not In Serv

Apparently it's not setup in fresh install.
You'll need to add something like:

[from-internal-custom]; <= might already exist

exten => 7777,1,Goto(ivr-1,s,1); <= where ivr-1 is you main incoming IVR name, but it might be different

...in extensions_custom.conf

Re:7777 The Number You Have Dialled Is Not In Serv

Hi bart thank you for that hint sorry I should have checked there I added a "Incoming Route" in the web interface and now all works. It funny why Ben left that out of his guide or many be I might have misread some thing any way thanks for the hint,

Now on to outbound calls then inbound calls then SIP devices :)

expect a few more silly questions from me :unsure:

One quick question, I made that change in the GUI but I thought it would have updated extensions_custom.conf with some sort of route but it did not make any changes there.
