Hello

Elastix 1.6.0

Zed3 IP-phone

I had already resigered 4 sip on ip-phone, L1 = 601, L2 = 602, L3 =603, L4 = 604

I want to setup follow me on them, if L1 busy that will switch to L2, if L2 busy will switch to L3 .........

I tested two methods but not work:

1. In 601 to setup follow me 602,603,604, when 601 not listen that will switch to 602, 603, 604 at same time ....

2. In 601 to setup follow me 602, in 602 to setup follow me 603, in 603 to setup follow me 604, when 601 not listen that will switch to 602 then 602 can't switch to 603 .....

Is this ip-phone not support it ?

Thank !

I haven't use that ip phone, but some multiline IP phone they have a general sip configuration so that you assign just one number but can have 6 simultaneous calls.

Other option, that could work for you is to create a queue in elastix that contain all that numbers. So when people call to that queue the call could be redirected to an available extension.

Hello

I created Queues 123 with 601, 602, 603, 604 extensions, and then created Ring Group 633, and then Queues 123 assigned to this Ring group.

So I used softphone to call Ring Group 633 but not working, is Ring Group cannot assign Queues number?

Thank !

leiw3248:

I notice you wandering/posting around these forums recently apparently completely confused and lost, if there is a language problem between you and "Elastix Without Tears" and the "hover over" help on the FreePBX pages can I respectfully ask that you get some help in the translations.

"Ring groups" ring extensions, with a variety of choices as to how, "queues" queue calls to extensions, with a variety of choices as to how, they do different jobs.

I suggest you read a little more about Asterisk and FreePBX to realize the difference and choose the one that works for you and are within the limitations of your hardware, read the documentation of your hardware, most will allow more than one call appearance, so maybe none of this is necessary.

regards

dicko
