    Hi all

    My last question for now

Call comes into operator, operator determines that person the client wants to talk to is away. How can they direct the call right into the persons voice mail?

    Thanks

    Hi Dicko

I tried this, here is what I did and phones used

On soft phone, I called from extension 220 to extension 221
On extension 221, I pressed transfer and dialed *222

it came back on extension 220 that 220 is not available and it hangs up.

In my general settings, I have it setup with the * for direct voicemail dialing

Any advice on this would be great..

I have tried this from pstn dialing as well and get the same basic result, what ever phone is trying to do the *<ext> is hearing a message play back that their extension is unavailable even though the transfer is to someone elses voicemail

    Thanks

    Hey

    Yes, it has voice mail

It was something to do with the *

As soon as I require **<ext> it works like a charm

We have elected to use the ** option

Now having an issue from polycom 500 series phones where if you lift the receiver and dial *97 it starts the hook before the 7 is executed.

Appears to be a polycom digimap issue so I will hash that out next

Other than that, things are coming together

    Thanks

    Sirbones
