I will try this soon, i will make a fresh install of elastix 1.6 and try your script.

What version of asterisk did you try this script on?

I had read that it is better to make the needed patches to latest version of Asterisk 1.4

Thank you

I did not finally manage to make 3g gateway to work on elastix. I did manage it though using debian net install and build it from scratch using some information from the provided script while also information found at http://asterisk-party.org/index.php/Ast ... ideo_3G_FR

It works like a charm, you should try it

I will give elastix again a try, but the process involves patching and recompiling asterisk, zaptel or dahdi, libpri while also requires installation of amr codec, ffmpeg and other multimedia related softwares.

It wasnt easy, but i eventually got it

Happy new year to all

Re: Re:3g Video Calls from Elastix

other problem is that all this software works only for 1.4 asterisk...and 1.4 end of life is 3 months away...and no support for 1.8 that since april will be the only mantained version...
putting security and features vs only 1 app function at stakes...mmmm

Hi and welcome to our Elastix forum.

Today, nothing about this way. And i've a doubt on compatibility with some libraries.
I had a scipt to do it, but it's too old.

You could look arround this link
