    Hey all,

I'm wondering, is there any benefit to using the 64 bit version of elastix over the 32 bit version?

I saw this thread and started thinking maybe there are other things that don't work quite as well on 64 bit ?

I don't think I really need anything that 64bit offers, only using like 512-1024 megs of ram usually. I wouldn't think that there would be any huge performance gains by using 64 bit, right?

Thanks for any advice and/or thoughts.

I think that 32 bits would be just fine for you. Normally there are more programs supported for 32 bits that 64 bits architecures, specially non free (libre) ones. More than 4 Gb of ram should use the 64 bits version.
