    Hi,
I am trying to setup Elastix 1.3-2 on our production machine in the office. We just acquired a HP Proliant DL380 (2 x Intel Xeon 3.06GHz) with 36Gb HDD's (hardware raid) and 4 Gb RAM

I didn't think that Elastix was going to support the hardware, so I install Centos 5.2 and Centos2Elastix. unfortunately it didn't support our OpenVox A1200 card.
so, I installed Elastix 1.3-2 and was getting things pretty well setup when I got a kernel NMI error and the machine rebooted.
I installed the HP Support services to do system monitoring and then the system wouldn't boot anymore. When I was able to get it booted, I didn't have a eth0.

I had installed the HP software with Centos 5.2 and no issues.

Is there an issue with the kernel with Elastix and multiprocessors?, 4Gb of RAM or Raid cards?

    Thanks

    Hello,

For >= 4 Gb you have to install the PAE kernel package (yum install kernel-PAE). I have not tried it yet (and I don't know if it is 100% compatible).

    Regards,

    JM
