Provisioning the SIP Client for Android & iOS (video)

There’s no need to deal with complicated firewall forwarding rules or deploy a VPN server, you can also say goodbye to one way audio issues and NAT problems. You just need to download our SIP Client whether for Android or iOS, scan a QR code and you’re done, your VoIP Softphone will be ready to make and receive calls.

Installing the SIP Client for Android:

  1. Let’s go to the Google Play Store and install the Android SIP app called 3CX.
  2. Grant all the rights requested by the app.
  3. Once you open the app for the first time, you will have to Agree with the Licence Agreement and then the phone will ask to scan a QR code in order to provision the client.
  4. Go to your Web Client and click on your profile in the top right corner then click on “Scan QR code” from the drop down menu.
  5. Scan a QR code to configure your SIP Client

  6. Once you scan de QR code, your extension will be automatically provisioned in matter of seconds and your status will change to Registered and On Hook. Ready to make calls.

Installing the SIP Client for iPhone (iOS):

  1. Access the Apple Store and install the VoIP app called 3CX.
  2. Grant access to the App to use the microphone, contacts and camera, also confirm that you accept to receive notifications from the 3CX Client.
  3. Once installed open the App, you will be prompted with a message asking to Scan a QR Code to provision the Client.
  4. Now let’s go to the Web Client and click on our profile in the top right corner then click on “Scan QR code” from the drop down menu.
  5. Scan a QR code to configure your SIP Client

  6. Once you scan de QR code, your extension will be automatically provisioned in matter of seconds and your status will change to Registered and On Hook. Ready to make calls.
