Farewell Bogota, welcome Buenos Aires

Echoes of ElastixWorld

It’s been almost two weeks since the sixth edition of ElastixWorld was concluded. We took this time, once the events season has ended in America, to write some notes about the event and announce the new chosen site.

The event attracted more than 700 attendees and about 170 sponsors and staff members, 23 speakers and the exhibition of 42 brands and companies in the industry.

Over the next week we will launch the “Echoes of ElastixWorld” campaign, where we will publish reviews of the participating companies, conferences held, brand launches and the videos of the conferences held at the event.

Elastix 4.0

Edgar Landivar launched the first Elastix 4.0 RC1, the new version of Elastix based on CentOS 7, today we confirm that the stable version will be available this November 6.

Here are some images of the new interface.

We are searching the administrator that will be the new face of the Elastix Integrators on the GUI; if you are part of the community and want to be immortalized in this version, send us a professional picture to participate in this initiative.

The numbers

Throughout these six years, approximately 5,000 people have attended ElastixWorld, 116 conferences and workshops have been held, 75 speakers from various nationalities have participated and 121 companies have been present.

Special thanks to Colombia and its technological community for the welcome and support before and during the event, we are sure we will return soon.

Our next destination: Buenos Aires Argentina!

In 2016 Elastix celebrates its 10 years anniversary; the Argentinian community has been part of the project since its inception and we are pleased to celebrate this important milestone together.

Thank you all for your continued support and hope to see you next year at ElastixWorld 7.
