all of us know the tone of busy ,

in elastix if i want to hang a call , i transfer it to busy .


my question is ,

i want a specific busy tone that belongs to each queue.

assume i have queue 30 and queue 40 and queue 50

i want when a busy call occurred , i want the caller to hear another thing instead of the default busy tone ring .


i know that elastix has a folder of theses tones but i want to dedicate a busy tone for each queue .


is my idea applicable ??
if yes , plz help me in doing it

Hi.

In each queue, you have this:
Music on Hold Class:
Ringing Instead of MoH:

Just play with these values.
Ringing Instead of MoH, must be disabled.
Music on Hold Class should include your prefered MOH.
When the caller will hear be into the queue, he hear the MOH.

About internal calls only, you can set Asterisk Dial command options, adding a m instead of r.

i want replace the busy tone of a specific queue , i want to replay it by voice record and keep on the other ring groups and queues to default busy tone .

You talked about queue, right?
You want to replace the ring back tone by a custom tone like for example an announcement or a personal sound record.
Great, you can do it.

Like your example,
Into queue (30, & 40), enable Ringing Instead of MoH
Into queue 50, disable it, and the MoH will appear instead of ring back tone.

Before just record a personal Moh which will be used by the Queue 50.
Into queue 50, select your personal MoH (Music on Hold Class).
