I have installed a new Elastix 2.30 32bit Server

I am trying to install the Developer - 2.3.0-2 Addon

When i use the web interface to install the addon i get to 19% completed then i get an error:
" Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: addons. Please verify its path and try again "

When i try to install via putty eg: yum install elastix-developer-2.2.0-3
I get an error:
" mirror.centos.org/centos/5/addons/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (113, 'No route to host')>
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: addons. Please verify its path and try again "

any ideas what i can do

Check that you are able to resolve domain names.
Another option could be that you download the package from:
elastix.adaptixnetworks.com/index.php?dir=2.2/extras/i386/RPMS/

Then install it manually on your server

i have downloaded the elastix-developer-2.3.0-2.noarch.rpm file

when i do a " yum install elastix-developer-2.3.0-2.noarch.rpm " my system still tries to connect and then times out.

i cannot ping elastix.org

any ideas

In the case you download it, you will have to install it by rpm, not with yum install.
A quick search in google will help you out with this.

Try:
rpm -Uvh elastix-developer-2.3.0-2.noarch.rpm

For more infomration on rpm flags, you may search on internet.
