On August 8 there was a presentation event of Elastix products and services at Asuncion, Paraguay.  This event was held in the halls of Villa Morra Suites hotel, and a select number of telecom-related Paraguayan companies attended.

It was organized by AMB, who is the exclusive distributor of Elastix products and services for Paraguay, and Elastix Conosur, our new regional office, who is in charge of Elastix matters in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

In addition to reviewing the features of Elastix as a Unified Communications solution, there was a introduction of some new hardware products and services that Elastix will be launching soon.

Interesting ways to do business based on Elastix products and services were also explained to the participants, so they could opt to join our growing channel network in the region.

Without doubt, the high point of the event was the release of the new NLX Series Elastix appliance, the NLX miniUCS.

Among the miniUCS highlights are its compact size and low power consumption. It allows up to 4 analog ports (FXS / FXO), up to 50 extensions SIP / IAX and up to 32 concurrent calls. All of these points to the fact that the Elastix software and the miniUCS appliance put together is definitely a serious alternative for SMBs, delivering new levels of possibilities to business communications.
