AudioCodes Successfully Completes Certification Testing With PaloSanto’s Elastix Open Source IP-PBX Solutions

Leading voice quality media gateways receive certification for use with the popular standards-based telephony software

Lod, Israel and Mexico City, Mexico, ElastixWorld 2011 – November 3, 2011 – AudioCodes, a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products and PaloSanto Solutions Inc., an Elastix® Company, today announced the successful completion of certification testing of AudioCodes Multi-Service Media Gateway (MSBG) platforms, Analog VoIP Gateways and IP-Phones using PaloSanto’s Elastix® 2.0, of the leading open source telephony platforms in Latin America. AudioCodes and PaloSanto’s collaboration will offer better design options for telephony developers, and enable rapid deployment of high quality and scalable SIP-based solutions.

AudioCodes SIP Multi-Service Business Gateway products (MSBG) including the Mediant™ 1000-MSBG and the Mediant 800™ MSBG, underwent a rigorous testing process to determine interoperability and compatibility when integrated with PaloSanto’s Elastix® 2.0. The Elastix application was implemented utilizing the MSBG built-in OSN (Open Solution Network) server, which allows developers and VARs to provide a true “all-in-one” business IP-telephony solution. In addition, the survivable Branch Office MediaPack™ CPE, and 300HD IP-Phones were certified as well, complementing a full suite of VoIP elements around any Elastix® based solution.

“PaloSanto is pleased to report that we have completed the testing between Elastix 2.0 and AudioCodes SIP Multi-Service Business Gateways, CPEs and IP-Phones,” said Edgar Landivar, CEO of PaloSanto. “AudioCodes is a significant addition to the list of Elastix certified products, allowing developers and resellers to leverage on AudioCodes All-In-One MSBG platforms, Survivable branch CPEs and cost-effective HDVoIP IP-Phones. With the Elastix software it forms a suite of solutions optimized for small and medium businesses demanding high level of security and survivability as well as readiness for SIP trunking services.”

“We are very pleased with this new collaboration” said Yariv Golan-Atir, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for CALA at AudioCodes. “With this announced interoperability we are able to jointly support a new level of enterprise telephony, addressing new market demands for uncompromised Voice quality, VoIP security and service survivability based on AudioCodes Multi-Service Business Gateways and
ESBC solutions”
