What is an Elastix Addon?
An Elastix Addon is an application that provides extra functionality integration to the Elastix system with an easy-install method via web interface.
They may be commercial or non-commercial, and they are either developed by PaloSanto, or by any company interested in offering their service or product through our platform.
These third-party manufacturers must demonstrate a commitment to the project and the constant delivery of high-quality products, as well as agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Elastix Addons Program, detailed below.
Elastix Addons Program
The Elastix Addons Program defines the terms and conditions the manufacturer needs to meet in order to list an addon within the Elastix Marketplace. The procedure is as follows:
Once the manufacturer has completed the joining process, the application will benefit from intense exposure within all Elastix installations (starting from 2.0) and throughout this website, and it will be officially recommended by us.
In addition, the Marketplace interface will be in charge of implementing the billing process to the end user.
There are two types of addons:
- Non-commercial: Non-commercial (free) applications do not need to pay any commission.
- Commercial: We have a 70-30 commissioning scheme, i.e. for each sale, the Elastix project commissions 30%, and 70% goes directly to the developer of the addon.
A portion of that 30% goes to the network of Elastix resellers, who are members of the promotions network of applications in the marketplace. As a result, the addon will access a network of over 60 resellers around the world!
