Compiling zaptel-1.2.15 stops at the below mention error,

"/usr/bin/make _libdir=/usr/lib KVERS=2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
USE_RTC=1 UDEVRULES=yes UDEVPERMISSIONS= linux26 make:
*** No rule to make target `linux26'. Stop."



but if I set zaptel.spec line UDEVPERMISSIONS=

Zaptel compiles successfully..

and zaptel-1.2.12 compiles fine with line UDEVPERMISSIONS= linux26

Have you had any chance to compile the latest zaptel..

Please advice if successful..

We had not have any problems. Maybe is your kernel version. We use the 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL instead of 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
