I installed the Citrix Xen Server 6.0 (Free Edition).
support for HVM in BIOS is enabled.
I create a new virtual machine Other install media.
mount the ISO file Elastix-2.2.0-x86_64-bin-01nov2011.iso.
install Elastix with default settings.
after starting the virtual machine, open the Web interface.
I open the page "PBX", I see a blank page.
And sometimes appears in the console disc error messages.

Elastix 1.6 on the server is installed and running without any problems.

I understand that probably need to explicitly specify the core is used.
How and where?

I'm facing this same issue here, it happens to me with Citrix XenServer 5.6 and 6.0, and with SLES 11 SP1 as Dom0 with Xen too.

I've tried this setup with Elastix 2.0 and Elastix 2.2 with no luck

Well, it just worked for me.

I've just installed Elastix 2.2 using the Other install media template in XenServer 6.0, it is like installing it using full virtualization instead of paravirtualization in SLES.

I think there should be a guide to install Elastix on Xen in paravirtualized mode, does anyone know about this?

Last I looked and tried, it wont work. The Elastix install is a reasonably cut down version of Centos - and doesnt have the Xen components included. You're only chance may be to try another hypervisor such as VMWARE, or RedHat KVM.

All vague and unclear. Community is silent.

Well, if I try the setup I described above, it ends giving me a lot of kernel error messages and the system is not reliable.

If I install it on Xen with SLES 11 SP1 as Dom0 in fully virtualized mode it works like a charm.

Some of your problem will be that DAHDI will not work.

You have two options for this issue, install the kmod dahdi-xen package. But this requires you to be running a xen kernel, which you probably are not, as its not included in the Elastix Install.
Otherwise, compile your own from source.

I've changed something in the little process described there, instead of shutting down the VM when asking for the installation source in step 3, I just unchecked the checkbox that says "Start the new VM automatically" just before the installation is started. When the creation of the VM has finished proceed with the step 4.

Note: If I set this new machine with more than one vCPU I start getting a lot of messages about a soft lockup on CPU1, since my installation is relatively small (about 12 concurrent calls) I removed one CPU and there are no more messages like this so far

It is not clear to me how shuold I install dahdi.
Besides all, why is it missing?
