If you want to use the embedded vTiger install on Elastix or on any asterisk distro as the sole interface for your clients' normal usage and wish to place your logos and remove the vTiger and vtigerCRM words from all but the footer, the following notes will be useful. The version looked into is v5.0.3 but should be a general guide to other versions.

A replacement for the webmail_header.gif is here:


The honestCRM.gif can be replaced by a copy of topBg.gif from the same folder while the honestCRMTop.gif can be replaced by a single transparent pixel blank.gif file - all files being renamed as the original filenames they replace.

Lines 653 and 654 in /var/www/html/vtigercrm/index.php can be edited for copyright line trimming.

Lines 150, 153 and 165 in /var/www/html/vtigercrm/modules/Emails/language/en_us.lang.php can be edited for replacment of the vtiger and vtigerCRM words as appropriate.

If we change the database name for vtigercrm to say from vtigercrm503 to vtigercrm510 then we have to change it in the /modules/backup-restore/index.php as well. There are references to vtigercrm5032.sql in it - a typo?
