Hi all, i have updated sugarCRM 5.2

I did it with the following commands:

1) /etc/php.ini configuration:

max_execution_time = 120
max_input_time = 180
memory_limit = 64M
post_max_size = 50M
upload_max_filesize = 50M

then a simply --> service httpd restart


2)download from: www.sugarforge.org/frs/?group_id=6 this packages

SugarOS-Upgrade-4.5.0-to-4.5.1l
SugarCE-Upgrade-4.5.1-to-5.1.0c
SugarCE-Upgrade-5.1.0-to-5.2.0e

I installed them from the oldest to the newest.

ALL OK!

I hoped that with the upgrade the SugarCRM will be faster but NO!

Any of this relases had not turn my Sugar faster,

so my question is : Why is so slow? and Who can i get it faster?

If your hardware is up to the minimum specs the only thing I can think of would be to try a clean install from the new version to a new directory and database. Also look at sugars forums and ask there too.

You might also try mysql database maintenance first.

I did your steps and everthing is ok!
Elastix 1.3.2 in a celeron.

I have empty database a new one.
Try with an empty database first and if you have problem again then something is wrong with your system.

You might also check logging level. Writing logs can slow things way down.
