TOPIC: NVFax 64bit files
#28293
NVFax 64bit files 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 7
Here are the pre compiled files for NVFax 64bit
With more switching to 64bit these might be helpful
Just follow the readme in the archive for installing

If these work for users on 64bit you might want to make this a sticky
File Attachment:
File Name: nvfax64.zip
File Size: 24813

Great DaveD, thanks a lot. My onlcy concern is about the license of nvfax, where can I get this info? I google for nvfax and all I get is asterisk related sites.

I just want be sure that they allow us to redistribute the files in this site.

Best Regards,

Rafael

I've been using the NVfax 64bit for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden, they stopped working yesterday. Now, when I have NVFax detection enabled, calls are not answered at all - it just hangs up after 30 sec. Any idea how that could happen?

No idea what has happened but you could try installing the Nvfax files again and reboot, see if that fixes the issue.
The only time I have had issues of corrupt files is a bad Hard Drive.

Thanks

I hope this isn't off topic, but a quick question.
I was trying to activate NvFax so I did some research on how to do it and really didn't find much.
I downloaded the files here, extracted them, and tried to copy them to /usr/lib/asterisk/modules
but neither of these folders (asterisk or modules) existed on my system. I created them and then copied the files there. I rebooted the system and the NvFax option is still grayed out in the inbound route fax option. I am running ver 2.0 RC1.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
