hi there...everything is possible in this life...but in this case is a more complex task...
elastix is an x86 and x64 linux distro basicly...this type of devices has arm cpus insides that has a totaly different set of instructions and architecture...
the whole distro needs to be re compilled and some parts re written to suite this architecture...and even then it would not even save the day selling them because arm cpus doesnt have fpu units so real time transcoding and audio processing would be pittyful...
if you wanna experience some arm asterisk uses get a linksys nslu2 unit ot a wrt54gl and put openwrt linux distro and asterisk in it...it has enough power to drive 1 or 2 conversations a time...best regards

Nope no "earth ground" third pin. In this case not required as they use house a/c in, transformer converts to +5, +3 and +1.8 on secondary side of transformer coils. All d/c boards are common grounded through secondary housing ground point.

Same principal as a cell phone charger.

im using this little magic boxes to act as remote media players or micro apache servers or mailers also you can compile asterisk from scratch in there ...obvioulsy the unique fault is the lack of fpu in arm cores but after that they plug computing is really usefulll in some scenarios
