Hi biggy213,

Can you elaborate the set up made for the Elastix? What is the network setup? You have to consider the aspect of it including the orientation of the trunking.

Regards,

Jessie

My isp is comcast and it install on dd-wrt router in wireless bridge. I am sorry but i don't understand what you mean by aspect of it including trunking. But the same trunk setting in freebpx on trixbox ce just connect fine and i can make and receive calls. But when i copied the same exact setting onto Elastix it just does not register.

Hi,

Your Elastix is connected to the router in the same network with your existing Trixbox, right?

It is like this: ISP -----> Router ------> Switch -----> Trixbox

and your Elastix is in the same connnection:

ISP------->Router-----Switch---------> Trixbox
---------> Elastix

Now, what I need to know is if your Router configuration like port and IP forwarding is the same you did with your Trixbox in to the Elastix?

As for Trunking, have you set up a Registration string like, user:password@voipprovider.com/callerID

What is your current configuration under sip.conf?

This is the basic configurations required to make this work in SIP trunking for you to send and receive calls.

Regards,

Jessie

Do you have 2 servers into your LAN with one ISP?!
If it's true:
This config is bad!!!
In this case you must have some PAT problems!
From the WAN, you redirect ports #5060 and 10000-20000 to @IP Trixbox!
And the Elastix server? Nothing!

In this case, you must make a trunk IAX2 between Elastix and Trixbox!

But it's impossible that Elastix don't work on your ISP and trixbox work. If trixbox work, then Elastix work also.
