I have successful integrate cisco as54xxx with my elastix system. I don't have E1 card, but I just make use my old cisco gateway to be integrated with Elastix system via SIP. Incoming call will be hitting my Cisco Gateway first, then Cisco will pass that call to Elastix via SIP prootocol. I am also in the midst of testing incoming fax using same setup.
