The groundhog is a cute winter animal original from North America and best remembered for the movie Groundhog day... I proposed it because I tell my friends affectionately groundhogs ... Basicly it´s easy to draw, its a cute animal, easy to caricaturize as I imagine it with an elastix black shirt and a headset on its head And as the mascot should be a memorable animal, friendly and cute, I liked the idea ... similar to tux in linux that has nothing in common with Linus Torvalds and its origin in Finland ...

Simpático animalito invernal del norte de américa muy recordado por la película el dia de la marmota... Lo propuse porque a mis amigos les digo cariñosamente marmotas...Basicamente es facil de dibujar simpatico, muy caricaturizable y me gusto mucho como se veia con camiseta negra de elastix y un headset en la cabeza Y como la mascota debe ser un animal recordable amigable y simpatico me gusto la idea...onda como tux en linux que anda tiene que ver con linux torvalds ni con su origen en finlandia...
